FAQ's

What is minimalism and why should I live this way?

Minimalism is finding of balance of owning the right amount of things necessary to keep you afloat, for your life and the work you are called to, in order to flee the spiritual dangers of materialism and embrace simplicity. This in turn brings mental and spiritual clarity and allows you to live on purpose.

These are the words of Jesus, "...Watch out! Be on guard against all kings of greed; life doe snot consist in an abundance of possessions." - Luke 12:15 (NIV)

Since you specialize in minimalistic organizing, does that I mean I have to get rid of all my things?

No, all minimalism efforts are driven and client-defined . I am here to encourage and support you in decluttering your space and making it as minimalistic as you deem necessary, in order to achieve balance within your space. I will always offer recommendations, tips, and tricks but I will honor your final decision. This is your space and it should always represent your own lifestyle.

Can you support me by coaching me on how to organize my own space?

Yes, I offer in-person and virtual options for DIY organizing. I will review you space and help you to create a detailed plan that is customized to your needs. You will have access to contact me for any assistance that you may need for 30 days from our DIY meeting.

What is a minimalistic event?

A minimalistic event is and event that focused more on moments and less on physical things. The aesthetic of each event will not be the same but will be grounded in the principles of less is more. All planning processes will also be grounded in this theory.

Does a minimalistic event mean I invite less people?

No, there is a difference between a minimalistic event and a intimate event. A minimalistic event is centered around less things and more moments. An intimate event is focused around smaller guest counts.

Does planning a minimalistic event mean I spend less money on the overall event?

Perhaps but not always. Minimalistic events are centered on quality over quantity, in regards to physical things and the overall  planning process. We will always work within your budget guidelines to design and execute your event. Because less is more, does not necessarily mean the purchase of services with other vendor will decrease. (Ex. If  you have a larger guest count at a destination venue, you will most likely need a higher budget than that of a small event at a local venue.)

Nneka Aje (OOMINI'd in-person)

I am so thankful for Orah's OOMINI. At the last hour I realized I needed help organizing a huge inventory sale. With over 10 years of items collected I did not know where to start. Orah came in and identified where we could streamline the process. Next, formulated an action plan to help increase sales. I am truly grateful for her time spent helping me and would recommend her.

...Orah came over, took some pictures and videos,  which I was ashamed to look because it made me look like a hoarder. She will text me each day to remind me that I need to PURGE as much as I can.

She will often check on me to see how far, give ideas of items I could buy to accommodate my stuff. Even search online and send me links of where I could get them at reasonable prices.

She always comes with helping hands to move things around and toss unnecessary stuff lol. I now possess a more productive, generous, and more functional space with additional three new industrial equipment. And everything is accessible easily without stress.

It was quite an awesome professional experience with Orah's OOMINI. Communication was excellent both verbally and via text, always friendly, patient, kind, innovative and supportive. Her follow up tactics are superb. She also educates on how to maintain and make it a lifestyle.

"My happy and delightful place" is what I call my new workspace. Each time I walk in, my whole being is super elated. Orah, excellent job you did. Thank you and God bless.
